What happens when an award winning executive chef decides to buy an equally exceptional landmark restaurant? You have a winning combination ensuring extraordinary food and service. Chef / owner Art Gustafson has accomplished this at Chadwick’s Restaurant this past December.

What happens when an award winning executive chef decides to buy an equally exceptional landmark restaurant? You have a winning combination ensuring extraordinary food and service. Chef / owner Art Gustafson has accomplished this at Chadwick’s Restaurant this past December.

Chef Art and his talented staff offer you the finest in American chop house fare and has embarked on serving an array of fresh succulent dishes. The restaurant prides itself in having all of its seafood, meats and produce delivered daily by small purveyors.

The press reviews are in and the Zagat guide Rated Chadwick’s is a hit... with one columnist calling dinner a  “ delight.” We are the proud recipients of OPEN TABLE dot com’s 2012 and  2013  Diners Choice Award... Come taste why!

The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with subdued lighting, a cozy brick fireplace and a wait staff that is polished and professional.

Chadwicks has set a high standard by offering a wide array of culinary delights and creative signature dishes that span the cuisines of the Pacific rim, Nuevo Latino, French bistro, Italian,  Mediterranean  and of course classic  American chop house fare. Some of our winning  signature dishes are the Lobster Quesadillas featuring fresh wild lobster delivered daily, our chicken meat balls have an Asian flair and our crispy pork belly is a sweet and spicy hit.

Since we pride ourselves as being an American chop house we use the finest meat purveyors on long island and the quality shows. Our steaks, filets and chops are landmarks in there own right. In addition to our fabulous steaks, chops, seafood, Chadwicks prides itself in offering  great wine, cocktail and martini menus, but save room for dessert; because at Chadwick’s all desserts are made on the premises, the smiling faces in the dining room tell the real story.

If you are looking for a delightful night out or a special catered event…. Chadwick’s is the place for lunch or dinner any time.

PRESS RELEASE: Zagat Rated Chadwick’s American Chop House & Bar in Rockville Center Gets Rave Newspaper Review

Zagat Rated Chadwick’s at the Station in Rockville Center Gets Rave Newspaper Review

Zagat Rated Chadwick’s at the Station in Rockville Center Gets Rave Newspaper Review

Long Island, New York, June 10, 2013, [press release] Chadwick’s at the Station in Rockville Center, an American chop house and bar, long an icon in fine dining, has announced the restaurant has changed hands and is under new ownership and management.

Award wining Chef Art Gustafson, a diverse and experienced veteran restaurant owner, food television, cruise ship and country club chef took over at the helm at Chadwick’s in December 2012.

A spokesperson for Chadwick’s announced that Chef Gustafson’s presence has not gone unnoticed stating, “Chadwick’s is delighted to announce that our chef, restaurant and cuisine got rave reviews from the Long Island Herald newspaper chain.”

“In a restaurant review written for ‘Table for Two’ by Terry Biener, a Long Island Herald reporter, she headlined Chadwick’s as ‘Fine Dining, Cozy Setting and a Chef Extraordinaire!’

“Ms. Biener also stated, ‘Dinner at Chadwick’s was an unexpected delight’ and she call Chadwick’s, ‘One of the coziest settings around. Muted lighting, mahogany accents, brick fireplace, tasteful knick knacks and well chosen art make it all extremely comfortable. Servers are well trained, polished and friendly.’

“Ms. Biener stated in her restaurant review, ‘[Chef Gustafson’s] techniques and presentations are stellar.’ She used adjectives such as ‘amazing’ and ‘sensational’ for our cuisine, described an entrĂ©e as offering ‘generous morsels of lobster’ and urged customers to ‘save room for dessert; made on the premises’ in reviewing our restaurant.”

Chadwick’s was one of very few restaurants in the area open during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy thanks, in part, to its proximity to the Rockville Center train station. Chef Gustafson, who was one of the chefs providing food for 9/11 relief workers stated, “Our neighbors in the Rockville Center area filled our restaurant every night and we were delighted to be of service to them.”
